NASA astronaut Dr. Kjell Nordwood Lindgren took this stunning photograph of London and posted it online. This image depicts London’s brightly lit capital during early Christmas. The ISS was passing 250 miles above the UK. The River Thames runs through London like a long, black snake. ISS astronauts celebrated Thanksgiving in Space. The ISS astronauts discussed their plans for Thanksgiving aboard the International Space Station. They don’t have a big oven in which to roast the large bird, but they do not need to baste it regularly until it is cooked. You can’t even sit down to enjoy the meal.
