- Remove the Apple TV from the box.

- If you plan to use a network cable, connect it between Apple TV and your router. For the wireless option, you can set it in the settings at a later stage.
- Turn on Apple TV with the Apple Siri remote.
- If your TV is set to the correct HDMI input, you will see Apple TV and get instructions directly on the TV screen. Now you need to set the language, country, region, etc. If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 9.1 or later, you can choose to make the settings there.
Install Apple TV with iPhone or iPad
Unlock your iPhone or iPad and make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your device.
Make sure it detects Apple TV. It will recognize Apple TV as a computer and ask it if you trust it then you choose yes.
Now just follow the on-screen instructions. Wi-Fi and Apple ID settings are automatically transferred to Apple TV.
