. A large piece of Elon Musk’s doomed rocket, which burst after liftoff has been discovered in the seas off Scilly. The large chunk of debris measuring 32ft (10m), by 13ft (4,5m) was found in the waters off the Isles of Scilly. It is believed to be from an unmanned rocked which crashed into the ocean after it lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in June. 2015. It was seen floating in the water between Bryher (the archipelago’s southern tip) and Tresco, a chunk of SpaceX Falcon 9. Local boatmen towed it to Tresco where it remains under surveillance. The flag of the United States can be clearly seen on a large part of the rocket. Coastguard issues warning to shipping after spaceship debris is discovered Thursday afternoon. Coastguards issued a warning for all vessels to watch out. Martin Leslie was the coastal area commander of Coastguard. He stated that “the markings indicate an American flag.
