VMware ThinApp är en applikationsvirtualiseringslösning. ThinApp kan köra applikationer utan att installera dem genom att virtualisera resurser som miljövariabler, Windows-registernycklar och filer.
Den simulerade miljön som presenteras för klienten är en sammanslagen bild av de underliggande fysiska och virtuella resurserna. Tillåter virtualiseringslagret att lura programmet att tro att det fungerar som om det vore installerat.
Hur ThinApp fungerar?
Som nämnts tidigare virtualiserar VMware ThinApp applikationer genom att kapsla in filerna och applikationsregistret i ett enda ThinApp-paket som kan hanteras, distribueras och uppdateras oavsett det underliggande operativsystemet.
Virtualiserade applikationer ändrar inte det underliggande operativsystemet. Och fortsätt att arbeta i olika konfigurationer konsekvent, vilket säkerställer applikationskompatibilitet, en sömlös användarmiljö och hanterbarhet.
